Saturday 20th July, from Dingwall to Tore, or so they said, but instead, it was Dingwall and down Strathconon and back to Muir of Ord for a late lunch snack. One member lost his bike keys en route to Dingwall, no names, but he answers to Ralph. Another great day out in this great sunny weather.
Boat Garten display, 19 bikes on show, but sadly very few people to see them, it rained a couple of times, which was spent either in the shed or in the hotel or cafe eating and drinking.
Only 5 members made this event, the sun shone all day and we got a visit from the Gala Queen and the Big Tots Circus ringmaster, Emma.
which went via Dallas, Knockando and Grantown. We were joined on the run by Eric from Arbroath, who was doing a Point to Point run for his local club and included Knockando Wollen Mill.

This is to let you know the sad news that Tom Elliott died on Friday, 4th May 2018. We are arranging a private cremation for Thursday, 17th May 2018. For those who did not know Tom, he was a true gentleman and a real bike, still riding into his eighties, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Tributes to Tom –
John Williams – Such a shame, he was a wonderful guy.
Dode Fraser – Very sad news.Tom was a real Gentleman. Who will be sadly missed.
Andy Loosemore – Very sad news, he was an example to all us oldies, and a really good bloke.
Richard MacIntosh – I know I haven’t been much of a committed member on and off over the years but I remember Tom with much affection, still riding his bike at 80 and beyond. A lovely, lovely man. I wish I had known him as well as yourself and many others. We stopped at his house for tea and sarnies above the Loch, dished up by his lovely wife on one run. Like many others I’m sure, saddened to read of his passing.
